Last weekend I attend a Sea Glass Festival. There were many vendors that showcased the beautiful jewelry they made with the sea glass. A majority of the vendors were from California and others were from the East Coast.
Besides the jewelry there were small display bottles of sea glass. After viewing the whole show it occurred to me that all this glass was in the ocean. Why was it in the ocean? Were people not able to throw the bottles or jars into a trash can or recycling can?
I do not know the answers to any of these questions but, I am glad that people are picking up the glass to reuse it and create beautiful items for the rest of us to enjoy!
